Who We are
We are two dedicated graduates from Mountain Gateway Community College in Clifton Forge. During our time there, we learned about both traditional and urban forestry through an immersive, hands-on experience. Between sawmilling, dendrology, climbing, silviculture, mapping, ecology, felling, and much more, we have the knowledge and skills to care for your trees with an ecological approach.
Nick Dawson
Originally from the Richmond area, Nick pursued a call to the Valley. Spending his youth as an avid outdoorsman has instilled an appreciation for nature. Working previously in invasive species management and for the Virginia Department of Forestry. Through these experiences he has fostered a passion to care for and promote healthy, native ecosystems.
Grant Parlier
Grant hails from Augusta County. Living in the woods and spending as much time as possible outside has grown into an eagerness to manage trees and forests. His work for multiple, science based, tree services has offered additional skills in aborocultural practices.
