Forest Management Plan
A forest management plan is a document that gives you an informed roadmap for your property. Plans are specifically tailored to your property, objectives, species present, history of the property, neighboring properties, and lots of other factors.
A management plan is also an important step towards qualifying for cost share initiatives from the Virginia Department of Forestry. Forest management plans may also be referred to as forest stewardship plans.
Our plans can be more or less detailed, depending on your objectives for the property. Plans may include such aspects as; topographic maps, lidar maps, species compositions, estimated volume of timber, estimated pulpwood volumes, recommendations for management, threatened and endangered species report, soil reports, and much more.
